We liked the fact that it is a small hotel in a quiet location with beautifully appointed rooms overlooking the sea. It has a lovely private section of beach directly in front of the hotel. The restaurant is beachfront and serves excellent meals....we ate breakfast and often lunch or dinner and were never disappointed. The staff are courteous and discreet. I asked at reception for directions to a pharmacy and they found and gave me what I needed to buy. Supit, the hotel manager was around every day to meet and greet his guests and make sure that the restaurant was running smoothly. We asked for a late check out on our last day and not only did he organise it but he personally drove us to the airport. We had no communication issues.

Nice new hotel in the Fisherman's village. You'll find good seaside restaurants close to the hotel. Pool and lounge very nice and the restaurant serves great food. Rooms' balconies are superb.

Would be nice if the hotel's staff would improve on their English.

The hotel staff do not have proper professional training. At the prices you pay here, it is not enough to hear kaap kun kap ( thank you ) 20 times a minute. It is not a fault of the staff but the management.

The hotel is overpriced. The Booked.net website carries an obsolete telephone number on it's website. I had to go on the internet to get the correct telephone number.

Staff couldn't do enough for guests comfort. The restaurant was fabulous.The room was one of the best I have ever stayed in we had the beach front...The pool is beautiful

The view to the left of our room was onto the street, directly looking at a disused building, rather ugly and would benifit from some good screening.

Room was really nice, great balcony, beach was clean and nice, pool is big and well maintained, food is tasty

Our sheets were stained - 2 large stains. One brown one grey. We had to call housekeeping at 1am after a long day out. When we complained to the check in staff the next day they just said sorry - no offer to upgrade, no chocolate in the room. This was rude. Food is also very expensive.

the water pressure was low especially for the standing shower. food selection was not there. too little and not tasty. muslims not sure what to eat, no seafood either.

The hotel itself if wonderful. Staff is very friendly, their English is OK. Breakfast is also good, servants are attentive. Rooms are beautifully designed and look quite new. Location is good for restaurants - plenty of them close to the hotel.

Many of the hotel's services are very expensive - like spa. We opted for a much cheaper thai massage close to the hotel. Dinner meny is also very expensive and not very Thai - and we wanted Thai food in Thailand. The beach is not too good compared to Chaweng - we ended up going there almost every day.

Hansar has the best location of all the resorts in Bophut, located within the Fisherman's village. All rooms look over the sea, but rooms on the higher floor have more privacy and better views. Rooms are spacious and bed is huge. Pool area is attractive, with infinity pool and plenty of loungers for guests. Good selection of breakfast choices.

Staff could benefit from more customer service training. For example, at breakfast we were sometimes forgotten and had to seek out staff to order coffee / meals. Poor design means bathrooms lack privacy - showers are in the middle of the room and toilet has partial glass door.

Location

The prices for food and services was expensive. At least double all neighbouring hotels and the standard was not higher than the other hotels.

Really lovely room with a large balcony. Perfect location on the beach and short stroll to fishermans village
